Finding Oceanview

 

There are two ways of getting on to the Isle - 0f Lewis.

By Air. FlyBE, and Highland Airways offers flights from Glasgow , Inverness and Edinburgh to Stornoway, Eastern Airways offer flights from Aberdeen. These flights operate 7 days.

By Ferry.There are two ferry routes to the Islands operated by Caledonian Macbrayne. The direct route is from Ullapool to Stornoway on the new ferry MV Isle-of-Lewis.

 An alternative route is from Uig on the Isle-of-Skye to Tarbert on Harris on the MV Hebridean Isle. Both ferries run Mon Sat with no Sunday sailings,  full details can be found on the Caledonian Macbrayne web site.

Making your way from Stornoway to Breanish Uig.

From Stornoway take the A859 towards Tarbert, after ten miles take a right turn at the Liurbost/ Cameron terrace turn on to the A858 to Gearraidh Na H-Aibhne.Take a left turn on to the B8011 to Timsgearraidh, follow this road through until you reach Breanish where Oceanview is the fourth house on the right hand side. The journey should take about 1hr 15 mins from Stornoway.

 

From Tarbert to Breanish Uig

From Tarbert take the A859 north to Stornoway. Take a left turn at Liurbost on to the A858 to Gearraidh Na H-Aibhne and then a left turn on to the B8011 to Timsgearraidh and continue until you reach Breanish where Oceanview is the fourth house on the right hand side.
